So you don’t put any soda or juice in it other than a splash? Kudos. But I suppose if you let it sit overnight the fruit releases a lot of sweetness and flavor to compensate. I add the soda for immediate drinkability and plus it takes the alcohol levels down a notch you so can drink more of it =).

Sangria is my all-time favourite drink. But I don’t water it down with gingerale/soda; I use cherry brandy instead. Hehe. And a little splash of orange juice. I love how you can just pile the fruit into sangria and let it just release all the flavours… mmmm. Thanks for these recipes!
