What a great gathering! I can only imagine the spread laid out that day. The meatball recipe looks great. Seriously.

Thanks! The post will probably show up later this week. I wound up using ground turkey patties that ceased to be patties, they were a mix of light and dark meat that worked pretty well. They didn't turn out to be too dry, and they had a good flavor that wasn't too far off.

Mikky, Sure thing!

Pyschgrad, Food blogger potlucks are a genious idea, see if you can find bloggers around your location!

Fearless Kitchen (Jessica), No problem at all! I'd love to see your take on it, what did you end up using? Beef, turkey or pork? Sorry I didn't get back to you on that. I think beef or turkey would work just as well. But if you were to use the lean ground turkey breast then I would have suggested to add some extra liquid to ensure that it doesn't dry up. Let me know when you've posted your version!

Hi,

I wound up making this, but I needed to make a couple of changes to accomodate allergies. Would you mind terribly if I blogged about it? I'll point people to you for the recipe, just tell them what I did differently.

Thanks

This looks delicious. I'm wondering how they'd be with turkey instead of pork? Or possibly beef?

Interesting - I like the flavour combination. I am really an average consumer of peanut butter, so I have no advice on the ultimate peanut sauce.

I want to have a food blogger potluck! Sounds like fun.

Heather, Yum indeed.

Mom, They were, I'll have to make them for you sometime.

Elise, I'm so glad you and everyone else seemed to enjoy them so much, I lucked out =). I feel bad it took so long to post them though, I was too concentrated on perfecting the dipping sauce.

Fitnessista, Haha, I agree, peanut sauce is the best thing since sliced bread, and it's even great on sliced bread.

Lori, Enjoy, they truly were delicious. I wonder how it would be shaped into a meatloaf?

Erin, I've recently got into the ground pork (which is essentially ground pork tenderloin). It's really lean and super juicy and delicious. You must share your recipe! Or do some kind of comparison... I must have the ultimate!

Sagan, Wow not a peanut sauce fan?? Maybe you just haven't had the good ones? It can be pretty bad if it's too creamy or globular or something.

ttfn300, You're right, that would be delicious. I made that peanut butter flavor once but I rarely used it so I haven't made it since. It's real simple to make, I should share the recipe.

Aartee, It was yummy, I assume you meant "I'll" not "vl" =). Let me know if you do!
