Nick,
This looks delectable and easy. I like using jarred products when they help create authentic looking things like this.

what?!?
no peanut butter - i'm shocked...

but way to go pbb!
this recipe is simple and delicious,
no wasting away while the tomatillos
boil out and toasting the cumin here,
it's not always necessary to do the extras
to get a great meal!

I know, my peanut butter instincts were temporarily shoved aside by my undying love for Mexican food. Thanks for the quasi-poem =) ~ Nick

This is a great recipe... and I LOVE Mrs. Renfro's salsas - it's pretty much the only brand I buy (so many awesome flavors!)

My knowledge of Mexican cuisine has been woefully neglected. This looks like good stuff! Love the tasty photo.

It is, the sauce becomes so concentrated with flavor that it's almost overwhelming. That and the meat just falls apart! ~ Nick

wait a second! a recipe without peanut butter?! did i miss something?! :) salsa verde is really good. you can make an easy one with tomatillos...

I thought about it, but decided against it. My love for Mexican food pushed my peanut butter thoughts aside for the moment to make this. I know, my next step is to make my own salsa verde with tomatillos, this was just so much easier =) ~ Nick

Nick this looks deliciously satisfying and stick-to-the-roof-of-your-mouth peanut-buttery! Will try it! Hopefully using only turkey won't change too much the texture (don't eat pork)... maybe I'll throw some bison in there too, I've gotten into it lately!
I'm a fool, I've come too late to the blogging world to participate in your contest tomorrow!!! But believe you me, you'll be getting my entry for the next contest for sure-o!
M

That reminds me, I have a bison steak in the freezer I need to experiment with, I've never had bison before. This works great with turkey tenderloins, the turkey meat actually falls apart after about 1 1/2 hours, it's delicious! I look forward to your entry! ~ Nick
