Bison Burger with Peanut Sauce

Ingredients:

8oz lean buffalo steak or ground meat
salt, pepper

2 rolls or bagels
peanut sauce
cheese, lettuce, tomato, etc…

Directions:

1. If you’re grinding your own meat, cut up the steak into 1″ by 1″ cubes and season with salt and pepper. Process through a meat grinder or powerful food processor.

2. Shape into 2 patties, packing as lightly as possible to keep the moisture in. Preheat a pan to medium-high. Spray with cooking spray and add the patties. Cover with a lid and cook for 3 minutes. Flip the burgers and cook for an additional 2 minutes, adding cheese, if desired, for the last 30 seconds of cook time.

3. Spread peanut sauce on one side of the roll (toast, if desired), top with the burger and any additional toppings.
